Degroof Petercam strengthens its presence in the Brussels periphery with the opening of two new offices
After the inauguration of an office in Wemmel last year, Degroof Petercam announces the official opening of two new offices, one in Woluwé-St-Pierre and the other in Uccle. These two new locations allow Degroof Petercam to extend the presence of its Private Banking activities in the Brussels periphery in view of offering its clients more flexibility and proximity. These two new addresses, added to the network of 14 existing offices spread over the Belgian territory, will bring us closer to our clients in the east and south of Brussels.

Publication of a new historical and economic book to mark the group's 150th anniversary
In the new book 'Past and Future of Macroeconomic and Financial Markets', published on the occasion of Degroof Petercam's 150th anniversary, the group's economic research-teams offer an analysis of the financial instability inherent in capitalism and of the economic and financial developments of the last 150 years. Crisis after crisis, central banks have strengthened the foundations of their monetary policy. The book draws lessons from this situation, but also from the recent COVID-crisis.

In March 2021, Bruno Colmant took over the direct supervision of Private Banking, in addition to his mandate as CEO. In order to devote himself 100% to Private Banking activities, he has informed the Board of Directors of his decision to hand over his mandate as CEO.

The grand prize of the Degroof Petercam Foundation is awarded to the initiative Ticket for Change
Degroof Petercam is pleased to announce that Ticket for Change is the winner of this year's Degroof Petercam Foundation prize. This collective aiming at training and creating jobs contributing to the ecological and social transition has been awarded a grant of one million euros, spread over five years, and will also benefit from the expertise and network of the Foundation. Alongside this winner, the Foundation is also rewarding five other projects, Armen Te Kort and Gojob, each receiving a grant of 50,000 euros, as well as Chance.org, Sport dans la Ville and Fondation Crésus, each receiving a grant of 20,000 euros.
